DESAFIO ‘24-25

The most anticipated event of the year at any school, the annual day celebration, unfolded on the enchanting evening of December 21, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The festivities began with a warm welcome extended to our distinguished guests. The celebration was graced by the presence of several eminent dignitaries, including Fr. Thomas Kalariparambil, Provincial of the South West India Province (SWIP), MSFS as the President of the function; Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, the "Moon Man of India," as the Chief Guest; and Guests of Honour Ms. Shamitha Malnad, a renowned playback singer and qualified dentist, and Dr. Santhosh Kumar, Councillor in charge of Formation, SWIP. Also in attendance were Rev. Fr. Dr. Binu, Principal of SFS Degree College and Superior of the Mermier Bhavan Community; Rev. Fr. Joshy, Manager; Rev. Fr. Mijo Kulamkuthiyil, Finance Administrator; and the heads of various institutions under the SFS Group.

The celebration began with a formal welcome and a prize distribution ceremony honouring the school’s meritorious students. The cultural extravaganza ‘Mirchi Mix 2024’ was unveiled with a captivating video presentation. This presentation beautifully chronicled the remarkable journey of SFS Academy as it celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The evening was a vibrant and entertaining showcase, as students from grades I to X mesmerised the audience with their spirited performances, dynamic dances, impressive acts, dazzling costumes, and breathtaking stage sets. Each performance drew the audience deeper into the rhythms of music and dance.

The celebration concluded with an energetic Christmas-themed dance, marking the finale of ‘Desafio 2024.’ The unwavering efforts of the students and teachers brought the event to life, making it an unforgettable and resounding success.
