The Chefs day in lower kindergarten took place on December 18 , with the idea to inculcate healthy living in the students at a young age. Healthy children- Healthy future was the message conveyed to all the LKG students, by their teachers. Students were dressed in paper aprons and chef hats, which also integrated the idea of using biodegradable equipment. Children were asked to bring vegetables and other ingredients needed to make sandwiches and teachers helped individual students to create tasty masterpieces. All kids were excited about the idea of being creators of something and took a step ahead in moulding their independence. Children had a lot of fun while learning about healthy eating and nutritious meals. After making these tasty sandwiches, all students then shared the same amongst each other and their teachers. Overall it was a very productive day.
