78th Independence Day Celebration

SFS Academy organised the 78th Independence Day celebration on August 15, 2024, in collaboration with the other Institutions of the SFS Group at Hebbagodi. The celebration began with the marching band of the school leading the dignitaries, President, Rev. Dr. Thomas Kalariparambil, MSFS, the Provincial, Southwest India Province, Chief Guest, Col. Sanjay Bisht, Director, NCC Directorate, Karnataka and Goa, Guests of Honour, Sri Muni Krishna, Ex Councillor, Hebbagodi CMC, Ms. Vedavathi, Sub Inspector, Hebbagodi Police Station and the management and heads of the various institutions of the SFS Group to the venue.

This was followed by a vibrant prayer dance to solicit God’s blessings on the occasion. Col. Bisht unfurled the Tiranga and the gathering sang the National Anthem in unison, filling the air with a sense of patriotism. Contingents from various institutions marched with a sense of dignity and pride, to the beats of SFS Academy’s marching band. The Chief Guest then addressed the gathering on the greatness of our country's defence forces and encouraged the young minds to choose the right path.

Students of the various institutions presented a variety of cultural performances showcasing the country’s diversity. Dance performances, musical concerts, martial arts and fashion show, were the highlights of the celebration. The President also addressed the gathering and appreciated the students for their wonderful talents showcased on the day. The celebration served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the importance of upholding the values of democracy, equality, and liberty. It was a day filled with pride, joy, and a renewed sense of patriotism among all members of the school community.
