"“The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that
gets the people to do the greatest things.” – Ronald Reagan
To inculcate leadership qualities among students, SFS Academy conducted cabinet elections for
students from Grades III to X and elected the Student Council for the Academic Year 2026–27.
The Investiture Ceremony, AZIONARE ’26, was held with great zeal and dignity on June 20, 2026 in
the school premises. The ceremony commenced with the school band escorting the Student Council,
Cabinet Leaders, Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and the Principal to the stage with due respect and
grandeur.
The programme began with a prayer dance, followed by a warm welcome extended to the Chief Guest,
Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Inspector, CISF, Electronics City, Bengaluru; the Guest of Honour, Fr. Rijiu
Jose; and the Principal, Fr. Johnson.
To invoke God's blessings and symbolize the spread of wisdom and knowledge, the dignitaries and the
newly elected student leaders jointly lit the traditional lamp. The entire school then sang the school
anthem, expressing their pride and loyalty towards the institution.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to
embrace discipline, responsibility, and leadership. The ceremony also witnessed the felicitation of the
school toppers of the Academic Year 2025–26. The achievers were honoured with shawls and
bouquets by the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour in recognition of their outstanding academic
performance.
Further inspiring the audience, the school topper, Lekhana Surisetty, shared her success journey and
motivated fellow students to strive for excellence. The outgoing Student Council of the Academic
Year 2025–26 was also honoured with mementoes for their dedicated service and commendable
contributions to the school.
Adding vibrancy to the occasion, the students of Grade VI presented a lively dance performance that
captivated the audience.
The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of badges and sashes upon the newly elected Student
Council members by the Principal and other dignitaries. Active members of the four
houses—Legendary Spartans, Invincible Samurais, Nifty Knights, and Ambitious
Avengers—were also recognized as an integral part of the school's leadership structure.
The solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony was administered by the Principal, Fr. Johnson. The Student
Council and Cabinet Leaders pledged to uphold the school's motto, discharge their duties with
sincerity, and serve as responsible role models for their fellow students.
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, marking the
successful beginning of a new chapter of student leadership at SFS Academy.
