SFS Academy organised its first graduation ceremony in honour of the outgoing students of class X on 23rd February 2019. The function commenced with the procession led by the school band to the auditorium where in the president of the function, Rev Fr Joshy Philip, the Chief Guest D R Ramamurthy, the principal , Rev Fr P M Lawrence , the management committee and the students of class X were escorted by the NCC cadets.

The celebration began with a prayer song followed by a welcome speech and lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest delivered an encouraging message to the outgoing students. Rev Fr P M Lawrence felicitated the guests on the dais. The juniors created an ambience of enjoyment and music for the seniors with brilliant performances which consisted of group dances and a wonderful farewell song.

The Class teacher of Grade X spoke about her teaching experience and it was a proud moment for the teachers and parents who witnessed the students being awarded with their graduation certificates and memento’s. The students expressed their gratitude to all the teachers and the management.

Rev Fr P M Lawrence gave an inspiring and enriching speech which focused on relationships of the students with their parents, teachers and peers. A video was presented that covered all the adventures and achievements of the 10th graders during the past few years in this school. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the School Anthem. As we bid farewell to our first graduating batch we wish them resilience, strength and perseverance to overcome any obstacles and a bright and successful future ahead.
